Rolling paper rolls – Rolling paper on a roll

Rolling paper rolls come as a continuous strip that can be cut to the desired length before rolling. Unlike pre-cut papers, the length remains flexible, while the width of each roll is fixed.

The selection includes 3, 4 and 5 m rolls, in widths ranging from 40 to 54 mm. Slim, King Size Slim and King Size formats are available alongside cellulose papers, natural fibre blends, hemp fibre papers and alfalfa fibre papers. Depending on the model, the roll is offered without tips or with 50 perforated tips.

Choosing the roll width and length

With a roll, the length is selected with each cut, but the width remains unchanged. This is the practical difference from pre-cut papers: first compare the width and format, then the total length, material, thinness and whether tips are included.

3, 4 or 5 m: available dimensions

In this selection, the 5 m rolls are available in widths of 40 mm, 44 mm, approximately 44 to 45 mm or 49 mm. The 4 m roll is 53 mm wide, while the 3 m roll is 54 mm wide. RAW Classic combines 3 m with King Size, Greengo Wide offers 4 m and a wide profile, while several 5 m rolls are Slim or King Size Slim.

Cellulose, hemp and alfalfa fibres

The materials used clearly differentiate the models. Gizeh offers cellulose papers, Medusa a natural fibre blend, RAW hemp fibres and Pay-Pay alfalfa fibres. Alfalfa paper has a naturally greenish tint.

The treatment and colour also vary: the selection includes almost transparent bleached papers as well as unbleached, brown or light-brown versions. One Greengo reference combines FSC-certified paper and packaging, while Pay-Pay GoGreen is made in Spain using renewable energy.

Thinness, gum and paper structure

The selection ranges from thin to ultra-thin or extra-thin paper. The listed paper weights include approximately 12 g/m² and 14 g/m². Depending on the reference, the gum is based on natural gum arabic, natural acacia gum or vegetable gum.

RAW uses the CrissCross watermark, while Greengo Wide features spiral embossing. Burning indications also differ by reference: regular, slow and regular, or slow with extinguishing when no suction is applied.

Rolls with or without tips

Gizeh Black and Gizeh Pink are included in this selection as 5 m versions with 50 perforated tips supplied in the same packaging. Other rolls are offered without tips. Therefore, check the contents if you want to combine paper and tips or already have your own tips.

Cutting, storage and transport

Unroll only the length you need, then cut the paper using the edge of the packaging when provided for this purpose or a suitable accessory. Then close the packaging and keep the roll away from moisture. A compact case can also make transport easier.
