Cardboard filters – Rolling tips for cigarettes and joints

Flat or pre-rolled tips: what is the difference?

Flat tips allow you to choose the diameter and shape of the mouthpiece. Depending on the model, the cardboard is plain or perforated: it can be rolled directly or start with a classic fold, accordion, spiral, M or W. Rigid versions help maintain a stable opening and limit the passage of plant particles towards the mouth.

Formats represented in the selection

Flat tips include dimensions of 26 × 60 mm in Slim and Regular, 60 × 25 mm and 3 × 7 cm. Pre-rolled Perfecto tips have a conical profile, a length of approximately 20 to 21 mm and a diameter of approximately 5 to 7 mm, depending on the reference.

Materials and treatments

The selection includes cardboard and paper, including several unbleached options. Depending on the reference, the material may be food-grade cardboard without chlorine or chemical additives, raw paper or unbleached natural fibres. One model incorporates seeds into biodegradable and compostable cardboard; another uses packaging made from recycled paper.

Structure and compatibility

The main purpose of a cardboard tip is to structure the rolled end. Unlike a cellulose or activated-carbon filter, it is not intended to filter smoke. Once shaped, it helps maintain a regular opening. However, check the dimensions and compatibility of each reference: some are designed for King Size papers, while others are suitable for all rolling papers, cones or rolled cigarettes.

Booklets and packaging

Flat models are available in booklets of 35, 50 or 150 pieces. Pre-rolled versions come in packs of 21 or boxes of 100 pieces. The compact booklet keeps the tips stored with the papers and makes storage and transport easier.
