An exclusive ceramic-silicone coating
SLX’s innovation is built around a proprietary ceramic-silicone polymer developed from components used to reduce friction in industrial tools. This coating is bonded to the aluminium at molecular level, ensuring exceptional resistance without flaking, peeling or deterioration.
It contains no PTFE or Teflon and is certified food-contact compliant according to FDA standards. The result is a grinder that resists resin build-up and maintains smooth rotation month after month.
7075 T6 aircraft-grade aluminium
Each SLX grinder is machined from 7075 T6 aluminium, an alloy used in the aerospace industry for its strength and lightness. More resistant than standard 6-series alloys, it helps reduce the risk of damaged threads or teeth.
