Gaiabis Piatella is a resin containing 67.60% CBD, obtained through mechanical extraction using ice-cold water and then refined at a low temperature. Its soft texture has a creamy, slightly buttery consistency and remains malleable at room temperature.
Gaiabis Piatella is a CBD resin shaped by two complementary stages: mechanical Ice-O-Lator extraction using ice-cold water, followed by low-temperature maturation. It contains a total of 67.60% CBD and has a soft texture with a creamy consistency.
The Ice-O-Lator method uses ice-cold water to mechanically separate the resinous fraction from the plant material. No chemical solvents are used during this process. This principle sets it apart from extraction techniques based on chemical solvents.
After this first stage, the resin matures for several weeks at a low temperature. This refinement process, known as cold cure, gradually changes its structure while helping preserve the aromatic compounds naturally present in the trichomes.
Piatella has a slightly glossy surface and a homogeneous structure. Softer than hash obtained through traditional pressing, it has a creamy, slightly buttery consistency that makes it easy to handle. At room temperature, it remains malleable without becoming liquid.
The total CBD content reaches 67.60%, while total THC accounts for 0.35%, a level that complies with the Swiss legal framework. The profile also includes naturally low quantities of CBG, CBDV, CBDA and CBC. These data describe the cannabinoid composition without implying any effect or medical use.
The raw material comes from a selected local crop. Ice-cold water extraction, followed by slow maturation, helps preserve the hemp’s terpenes. The result therefore retains a rich aromatic profile, close to the character of the plant and the variety used.

CBD is not subject to narcotics legislation. In Switzerland, hemp containing less than 1% THC does not fall under this legislation, but its sale remains subject to the rules of the relevant product category, for example those governing foodstuffs, cosmetics or tobacco products.
A THC content below 1% is therefore not, on its own, sufficient to determine whether a product can be sold or used for a given purpose.
Yes. Some of our products may contain THC, but always in quantities below 1%, in accordance with Swiss legislation. This level is too low to cause psychoactive effects. All our products are legal, tested and compliant with the applicable Swiss requirements.
CBD (cannabidiol) and THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) are two cannabis molecules.
CBD is not psychoactive: it does not produce a “high”.
THC is the substance responsible for psychotropic effects.
Our products are rich in CBD and contain little or no THC.
