RAW x Hammercraft four-part grinder made from black anodised aircraft-grade aluminium and CNC-machined, with a diameter of 63 mm.
Created through a collaboration between RAW and Hammercraft, this grinder combines a 63 mm diameter, a four-part design and a black anodised aluminium body. CNC machining and diamond-shaped teeth complete a design intended to provide even grinding.
The grinder measures 50 × 63 mm, with a diameter of 63 mm. This generous grinding surface allows a comfortable quantity to be processed at once. Its weight of 172 g helps keep the unit stable during rotation.
The four-part construction adds an integrated screen and a lower pollen compartment to the grinding system. The finest particles pass through the screen before being collected separately in this chamber.
The diamond-shaped teeth are designed to distribute the grinding evenly. The magnetic lid keeps the components assembled during use and transport.
The body is made from aircraft-grade aluminium. CNC machining is a mechanical process that shapes the various parts precisely. The black anodised finish gives it a discreet, uniform appearance while improving the aluminium surface’s protection against wear.
The contents include a brush and a scraper, two small accessories supplied directly with the grinder. The set is delivered in cardboard packaging.
On this model, the four components separate the grinding area, integrated pollen screen and lower compartment. After grinding, the crumbled material remains in the designated space, while particularly fine particles can pass through the screen and reach the lower chamber. This compartment opens separately, keeping the different areas accessible without having to completely dismantle the grinder.
The diamond-shaped teeth work best when plant residue does not build up between them or on the threads for extended periods. For routine maintenance, the supplied brush removes loose deposits from the grinding area and screen. The scraper helps carefully loosen fine particles from the pollen compartment. Avoid harsh or abrasive products to prevent unnecessary strain on the black anodised finish.
If the grinder becomes heavily clogged, dismantle it completely and allow each part to dry fully before reassembly. Regular maintenance helps keep the chambers easy to open and the rotation smooth.
