It is the oldest cultivation method used for hemp. For several millennia, this plant has been grown outdoors to produce fibres, seeds, flowers and many other products derived from its different parts. Today, Outdoor still represents a significant share of global hemp production.

Cultivation in step with the seasons

Outdoor crops naturally follow the cycle of the seasons. The plants rely exclusively on sunlight for their growth and flowering, without using artificial lighting.

Their development depends on many factors, such as the duration of sunshine, temperatures, precipitation, wind, humidity and soil quality. Each growing season therefore has its own characteristics.
