A CBD e-liquid is a liquid intended for electronic cigarettes, containing cannabidiol (CBD) and used for vaporisation.

A CBD e-liquid is a liquid designed for use with an electronic cigarette or compatible vaporiser. It contains cannabidiol (CBD), generally dissolved in a base made of propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerine (VG) or a mixture of both.

CBD e-liquids are available in different concentrations to suit individual preferences. They may be offered with or without flavourings and are formulated specifically for vaporisation. Unlike CBD oils, they are not intended to be ingested.

How does a CBD e-liquid work?

During use, the coil of the electronic cigarette heats the e-liquid and turns it into vapour. This vapour is then inhaled. The CBD is therefore vaporised without combustion, distinguishing this method of use from products intended to be smoked.

CBD e-liquids are generally used with devices operating at low power, which are better suited to vaporising cannabidiol and help preserve the product’s characteristics.

Composition of a CBD e-liquid

A CBD e-liquid mainly consists of a base of propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerine (VG), to which cannabidiol is added. Depending on the manufacturer, the formulation may also contain food flavourings or terpenes to reproduce certain aromatic profiles.

Before use, it is recommended to check the compatibility between the e-liquid, the equipment used and the selected CBD concentration in order to achieve an experience suited to your needs.
