Payment methods suited to purchases in Switzerland

Gaiabis offers several payment methods so that you can pay for your orders simply and securely. When placing your order, the available options are displayed directly at the payment stage.

Depending on the method selected, payment is processed by specialised payment infrastructure or according to the instructions displayed when the order is placed.

Which payment methods are accepted?

On gaiabis.ch, you can currently use several payment solutions:

• Postcard;

• Bitcoin.

The payment methods actually available for an order are those offered when the basket is checked out.

TWINT

TWINT allows you to pay for an order from the TWINT app associated with your account. When this option is selected, the instructions required to validate the payment are displayed during the ordering process.

TWINT is particularly convenient for people who wish to make a payment without entering card details on the shop.

Visa and Mastercard

Payments by Visa and Mastercard are made using the payment infrastructure provided for this purpose.

The sensitive data required to authorise the transaction is processed in the corresponding secure payment environment. Gaiabis does not store your complete card details on its own servers.

PostFinance and Postcard

Customers using PostFinance solutions can also select the available payment methods corresponding to their account or card when placing an order.

Validation takes place according to the secure process offered for the selected payment method.

Bank transfer

Bank transfer allows you to pay for an order directly from your bank account.

When this solution is selected, the information required for payment is provided when the order is placed. Processing may depend on receipt of the payment.

Payment in Bitcoin

Gaiabis also offers Bitcoin among its online payment options.

When this option is available and selected, the information required for the transaction is displayed directly during the payment process.

Worldline Suisse and PostFinance

For processing certain electronic payments, Gaiabis notably relies on Worldline Suisse and PostFinance.

These providers are involved in the payment process so that the information required for the transaction is processed in environments designed for electronic payments.

This organisation means that Gaiabis does not have to store the complete card details used to make a payment directly.

A secure connection on gaiabis.ch

Communications with gaiabis.ch use a secure HTTPS connection. This connection encrypts the information exchanged between your browser and the site while you browse.

When a payment requires validation with an external provider, the corresponding steps are integrated into the ordering process or carried out in the secure environment of the provider concerned.

Payment in our physical shop

In our physical shop in Switzerland, you can also pay for your purchases in cash or by card.

The payment methods available in the shop may naturally differ from those offered for an order placed on gaiabis.ch.

What happens after payment?

Once your order has been correctly registered and its payment confirmed when confirmation is required, our team can continue processing it.

You can find information relating to your order in your customer account and in the communications sent to the e-mail address provided when you made your purchase.
